With no blood or gore to be seen, it’s a great game to play with your kids. It mixes challenging puzzles with adventure and throws a little humor on the side. Gobliiins uses a straightforward point-and-click interface, making it easy for anyone to pick up. While the gameplay is linear, there are still plenty of things to keep you entertained while deciphering each level’s puzzles. The goblins have a community health bar which will deplete if you’re not careful. The little buggers have some sass to them and will mock you when you misuse items and become impatient when you’re idle for too long. Each Goblin has its talents that can aid in your adventure, and you can control each character individually. The trio must solve puzzles by collecting items and using them accordingly. Take control of a trio of Goblins who embark on a quest to find four magical items that will lead them to the dastardly wizard who has taken control of their king via voodoo doll. When the king is in trouble, who do you call? Goblins. Of course, it later made its way onto other platforms and was released as an arcade throwback on the iPhone in 2010. Gobliiins is the first adventure puzzle game in the franchise of the same name and was developed by Coktel Vision and published by Sierra in 1991-1992 for DOS and Amiga.
